Electric motorbikes have been cruising on a hot streak in the 21st century as motorbike technology continues to experience rapid developments as time passes by. Day by day, the latest innovations in electric motorbikes are gradually going commercial, to the delight of many enthusiasts all over the world. One of the strong contenders in this ever-growing industry is none other than the South California-based electric bike company Super73.
Regularly churning out attention-grabbing additions to their expanding product line, Super73 is most known for its success in blending state of the art technology with its powerfully performing electric bikes which will leave motorbike aficionados wanting for more. One of the most recent additions to their catalog is the Super73-RX, which the company claims is its most powerful and most technologically advanced electric bike yet.
And if that was not enough, the Californian company pulled out all the stops with the Super73-RX by collaborating once more with famed custom motorcycle designer Roland Sands Design to release a limited-edition version of the RX dubbed the “RSD x Super73 RX” electric motorbike. This comes after the massive hype generated by the two companies’ previous collaboration on a customized version of the Super73 S1 motorbike.
Electrifying Power
Besides alterations in some components, the RSD version does not differ that much from the standard Super73 RX. The RSD model also features the top-quality aircraft-grade aluminum alloy material equipped in the RX model which is claimed to be sturdier and lighter than the standard steel material found in most motorbikes.
Several modifications done with the RSD RX include the relocation of the signature 960 watt-hour battery to the center of the bike and the addition of an adjustable Fox Suspension for better handling. You can also expect alterations such as the inclusion of Magura brake systems and Super73 GRZLY all-terrain tires. Moreover, the RSD RX is also powered by an internally geared DC hub motor which can yield maximum outputs of up to 2000 watts.
Aesthetic and Innovative
Besides the pleasing custom graphics offered by the signature RSD touches to the design of the RX, the electric bike also offers several smart features such as integration with the Super73 mobile app via a Bluetooth-supported monochrome LCD display which allows the user to access several perks such as turn-by-turn navigation. The RSD Super73 RX also comes in four available driving modes, namely Class-1, Class-2, Class-3, and Unlimited Mode which allows the Super73 RX to reach top speeds of 28 mph.
